Upgrading to El Capitan

I have a 2009 MacBook Pro OSX Yosmite 10.10.5 Model 5.3

MBP has 2.8GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo

8GB MHZ

Trying to upgrade to El Capitan as it seems as if MBP is at its limit to upgrade any further to macOS Sierra

Downloaded El Capitan from Upgrade to OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

Which sent me to App Store

After downloading installation and opening file was told that missing is the 10.11.1 upgrade

Can't find 10.11.1 upgrade anywhere

Any suggestions?
