do i need new motherboard (screen wont work) pi...

So last night i dripped some water on the black hinge where the screen moves. 10 minutes later my screen went black. Everything works except for the screen. If i connect my laptop to another monitor all is fine. I opened up the macbook and saw the green r005 chip had gotten wet, and it was fried?  i have attached some photos. or you think i can get away with replacing the screen
