Apple Music / iCloud: Remove songs from library...

In the music app (iOS), how do you remove a song from your library but keep playlists intact? I can add a song to a playlist without adding it to the library (there's a setting for that). But even then, if I add the same song to the library later and remove it again, it's gone from the playlist.

When you go through your playlists and check out the albums of some songs, there seems to be no way to get rid of them again without breaking your playlists. Am I missing something?
