No sound on new 2017 Ipad Pro 12.9
Hi there,
Im having a problem with my new 2017 iPad Pro 12.9 512Gb.
Ever so often (twice so far), the sound has completely cut out. No sound in apps, music, netflix etc including calls.
Software is up to date.
I phoned support and they suggested that it might be trying to connect to a bluetooth device however I checked this and turned bluetooth off which has not helped.
Restarting the device does fix the problem but this is annoying to do regularly.
The only other solution they could offer me was doing a factory reset which is unlikely to fix a software issue.
Anybody else experiencing this? Got a fix for it?

Yes, I have the same issue on an iPad 2017 which was purchased in June. Force quit is the only way I can get it to work again. Would also like to know what the problem is.
