When will a film become available to purchase n...

I really want to BUY the new Rush documentary Time Stand Still and I do check regularly to see if this title has become available without success. I really want to own it and not rent it. Can you please confirm if and when this will be available to buy?

That decision is up to the owners of the film: in fact usually films are for purchase only for a period before they are rentable; but in any case no-one on this user-to-user forum would have any idea. You could try writing to the production company,

It looks like it can be bought in the US iTunes store already. Here in the UK I only see a rental price. Presumably it will be released for purchase at some point, but if there isn't a date listed on the store there is no way to predict when that might be. You can buy the DVD or Blu-ray from Amazon now, but only as far as can tell only as a region 1 disc.
