iPhone apps not updating via iTunes on Mac

I don't have WIFI at home... In the past, I could download updates for the apps on my iPhone on my computer (through iTunes), connect up my iPhone via a cable, and the apps on my iPhone would get updated to the latest version.

I've just noticed that this no longer happens. New apps downloaded on my computer no longer get copied to my iPhone. I have to find a WIFi hotspot to update the apps.

Any ideas on how I might get things working as they should would be greatly appreciated.
