Apple has the information on every one of its products i have bought for years and posted it all yesterday.  I have an iphone 8+ and spent hours yesterday setting it up at Apple.  Now i see Apple has placed my credit card number on the phone.  How to delete? 

They 'posted it all yesterday' where ? And where is the credit card number showing on your phone ? If on your iTunes account then only you could have added it to the account, if you no longer want it on the account : Change or remove your Apple ID payment information - Apple Support
