Do Not Disturb Chats Still Show Up on Apple Watch

I'm in a group chat with about 7 people and on my iPhone 6 I have the chat set to "do not disturb." On my Apple Watch I have messages set to "mirror" iPhone but whenever someone sends a message my wrist still taps. Ive had to turn off all message notifications because the constant tapping is annoying. Anyone else expei nice this? Am I doing something wrong?

I have also been searching for an answer but no luck. I have it set to "mirror" too but unfortunately I think that only applies to the "DND schedule" and turning it off and on via watch/phone icon, and doesn't trickle down to more customized settings like specific conversations.

Same issue here, extremely inconvenient.

Had to turn off all text message notifications as well.

Hopefully it will be fixed with an update.

I had good luck toggling the Do not Disturb setting off and on on the problematic conversation. No more issue.

I tried this, but unfortunately no luck. You did this on the phone side, correct? I tried to look into details on the watch but there aren't any DND settings on the watch side but just wanted to be sure I didn't miss something.

Same here, this did not work for me.

It also seems that the latest OS update won't even allow me to turn off notifications for text messages.

I've tried everything and still get notified, it is extremely annoying.

Correct, on the phone side in messages, tap into the conversation you wish to mute, tap Details on the top and then toggle "Do Not Disturb" off and on. I did notice I had a two "versions" of the group conversation with slightly different participants, you need to make sure each of them are muted.

Also reading the original post, I have Messages set to "Custom" with everything on (Show Alerts, Sound, Haptic) - rather than Mirror my iPhone.

I have Custom with Show Alerts set to off. All Messages notifications still come to the watch.

Same here. This *****. Have there been minor updates to the OS? I'd hate to wait till fall when WatchOS 2 comes out.

I have the same issue and it is extremely irritating.  If I say that I want to "mirror" my iPhone settings, this should obviously include mirroring the muting of conversations.  Its time for the next minor update (1.02?)

Same issue here, Mirror my iPhone does not acknowledge "do no disturb" for group chats, I'm not sure about single chats.  Messages will just be turned off on my Apple Watch until this is fixed.

Same issue, sport watch 42mm. iPhone 5s, up to date software on both, 2 calls to apple support still no fix, tried every reset, reboot, delete conversations, toggle DND, toggle settings, no fix, now I have to go to the store to have it looked at. Weak sauce

Do you guys still have the problem in Watch OS 2.0 ? Cause I still have it and it makes me crazy :/
