Will series one update to new OS

I want to know if series one will update to recent watch OS

Yes, Apple Watch Series 1 models can be updated to watchOS 4 - which due for release on 19 September - if the paired iPhone is an iPhone 5s or newer model that has first been updated to iOS 11.x (due for release the same day).

Follow the instructions here in due course, starting by making a backup of your iPhone:

• Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
• Update the software on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

If you instead have an iPhone 5, then follow the same sets of instructions to update your devices to the latest supported software versions.
