Storage and carrying ideas for Apple Pencil

Interested in storage and carrying ideas for the Pencil. Can I use a cap? Maybe from a Bic pen? Is there an easy way to carry it with the iPad Pro and keyboard cover? Since there's no off switch, is there a downside to storing it near the iPad? Or far away? Is it possible to attach something to the Smart Cover to hold the Pencil? Thanks.

I got a case for a travelling toothbrush and put some gauze in the top and bottom of the cap and it works fine. It stays in place and no rattle.

im considering ordering this - IF I ever actually get my pencil. https://www.moxiware.com/collections/apple-pencil-accessories

Hi why don't you check out steelconnect quarter. Should be able to solve your problem. https://www.steelconnect.co/category-s/1820.htm

Try this best storage sleeve for Apple Pencil.

After considering these great choices, I adapted the toothbrush case idea. I Got 1/2" PEX tubing, plugged one end with a piece of dowel and used an end-cap for the other. To protect the Pencil's tip, I drilled a hole in the dowel so the Pencil rests on its shoulder (adjacent to the tip). I carefully cut it to length and glued a small foam cushion inside the cap. The Pencil is fully protected, stays in place, and for less than $10 US, I got enough material for about six cases. Know anyone who wants one?

That is an absolutely great idea! I think I am going to find one of those and decorate it myself with cute rhinestones and that will be my carrying case!
Awesome idea especially since I have been wondering about what I could store it in since it is just in my iPad Pro bag with no protection.

Check out this elegant wood case that has a a variety of wood and paint colors to choose from. It holds the pencil lighting adapter and cap. https://www.antiquecharacter.biz   a video is here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=J4_QcRqDUa4

This might be on the higher end, but this is what we designed for the Apple Pencils : https://www.lucrin.com/case-apple-pencil.htm

Here is our solution to this problem: https://gearcase.online/index.html Keeps the Pencil attached to the iPad and handy for whenever it is needed.  Sleek, simple, and secure.

Check out current Kickstarter for GOPOD. It is an Apple Pencil stylus holder that attaches to your iPad Pro.

That seems risky to plug it into the lightening port. That would be an expensive fix if it damaged the port.
