iTunes full screen viewing MacBook Pro

Hello,

I recently purchase a 2016 MacBook Pro, all updates have been made. When viewing my downloaded movies in iTunes, it will start in full screen but then go to small screen in upper left hand corner. If I touch the mousepad, instantly back to full screen. I have checked the Full Screen box and have used the expansion arrows. It simply does not stay in full screen. Thanks for any input..
