Issue: Sending Large images with Mail, recipien...

Hi there,

I´m struggling to fix this issue for my father. He frequently sends images to family and friends via Mail, but when they receive them, the images appear very small, while he selects Actual Size in Mail. Here below a few screen shots of the process (this only occurs when he sends multiple images at once):

These are the images he wants to send, as you can see they´re big:

Now, I drag them to the Mail app (nothing changes when I add them through 'Attachments' nor when sending directly from Photos):

Then when I send it, people with Gmail will see this:

I´m not able to download them easily (have to right click the image and then 'Save in Downloads'), nor double clicking on them to see them in its original size, nada. But, when looking at it on my iPhone (also Gmail account with Mail App) I do see it in its Original size.

The weird part is that everyone that is not using a Mac + Mail App is having trouble seeing the images. So, it´s not solely a Gmail issue. I have the feeling that Mail does something to the e-mail when sending multiple images (as with one image there is no issue). But, after selecting several options and testing it, still no fix

That´s why I write this post to see if someone has had this issue in the past and solved it, or if someone knows where the issue can lie.

About the system my father is using:

iMac (Early 2009)

OS: Yosemite 10.5.5

Mail: Version 8.2 (2104)
