Can I install DDR3L on my MBP (13

Hi All,

I am currently using my MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011), 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 with 4 GB (2x2 GB) 1333 MHz DDR3. I have noticed that my MBP has slow down dramatically (taking longer than normal to open/run applications). It can't even run Logic Pro smoothly. So I have decided to upgrade the memory. I just have two questions:

1. Can I safely install DDR3L?

2. If yes (question 1), would 1600 MHz be a problem?
