Apple dvr player

Accidently loaded 2 DVDs in my Apple usb dvr player. They will not eject. Is there any way to unjam or unload them?

There is an iFixit guide to replace the actual player from the Apple DVD Player

housing, once removed you may be able to access the DVD media & pull it out.

However that said, the unit inside the case may not be so user-friendly.

The housing may prohibit you from accessing the actual optical media.

Some components may be hard-soldered & be most difficult to remove.

The slot-loading design is OK but for home use, a tray-loading model

can be most useful because they are less costly, and can allow other

shapes of DVD/CD media to be played or recorded on to. A few good

examples of external tray- and slot-load optical drives are at OWC.
