locked notes
how is it possible to be locked out permanently from your notes when you forget a password? I just cannot believe that there is no way to retrieve the lost password of notes and you just have to delete it.
everything that has a password has a bypass method, so my question is this simple!
which is the way to bypass the lock of a note?
If there were a bypass method, the password would not be very secure. If you can bypass it, so can someone else. Apple takes passwords pretty seriously. If you forget your passcode to your encrypted iPhone back up that back up is gone. If you forget the passcode to your iPhone/iPad, you will need to wipe the device and start again. Even Apple can't get into it.

If that were true the FBI would not have had to pay close to $1 million to get into one phone. It's also a desire of the CIA, NSA and FBI to require by law that there be a way to bypass passwords (you see it discussed in the news as a "back door"). Apple does not provide back doors for any of its products to keep your data safe.
From the Apple Support Article which explains how to use Locked Notes:
Set up your notes password
Before you can lock your notes, create a password that you can easily remember. If you're concerned about forgetting your password, make sure that you give yourself a password hint and that you set up Touch ID. If you forget your password, Apple can't help you reset it.
If you access your iCloud notes on more than one Apple device, you'll use the same notes password to lock and unlock all of them.

you all missed the point!
we are not talking about how to hack a password.
I am the legal user of this iphone, i have my icloud account secured, I still have access to my account, even if I wouldnt have access to my apple id the is a proccess so "I" "the legal owner" can reset my password and regain access.
the discussion is about something that seems fault to me. I strongly believe that this issue its a bug. passwords are made for humans and humans forget passwords all the time, thats why companies invented the reset! you cant retrieve the old one due to safety reasons but when you proove that you are the legal owner of the specific device/service you can reset the password and regain access.
tell me how this looks normal to you! you can reset your apple id password but not the password for the notes.
No, YOU are missing the point. Apple doesn't know your password. If they did they would have to respond to a court order to reveal it or reset it. It can't be reset, because it is the encryption key for the notes. A website password is not an encryption key, so it can be reset. (If the site is properly designed, you can't find out what they password is, but you can reset it.) But encryption keys in general cannot be reset. If you have an encrypted backup, for example, that key can't be reset either. If you encrypt your hard drive (as you easily can with a Mac, or with any other computer with 3rd party software) and you forget the key you can't retrieve its content either. At some point you have to take responsibility for your actions. There are dozens of password vault apps if your memory can't handle it, or even just a notebook.
May I suggest that in future if you want something less secure that you buy a different brand of phone.

You're still missing the point. If there is a way to get around a forgotten password, than it is not secure. It makes the password exponentially easier to hack. I'm sorry you lost access to your notes. But, lost them you have.
What part of....

...don't you understand? If you don't want to take the time to read what it is you are invoking, then you can't have a big tantrum when it works exactly like it said it would. You are responsible here. You have the information to educate yourself on the upsides and downsides of any feature you want to take advantage of. If you don't understand how the feature works, then deal with the consequences. You are responsible. You and you alone.
