New version of ITunes and installed Apps

My automatic software update just downloaded a new version of iTunes onto my desktop. Now when I open the program, my phone apps no longer appear. Where did they go?

Apple removed that functionality; they can be managed on the devices, and can be manually dragged there from the iTunes Media folder if needed.
