when i move the mouse pointer over an icon ...

when i move the mouse pointer over an icon or file a box pops up and a voice explains what the icon is. how do i turn this off?

System Preferences > Accessibility > select VoiceOver in the sidebar > uncheck box next to Enable VoiceOver.
