need to be have a admin/ administer

sense i upgraded to 11 i cant update, delete or install new software. i know my username and password. i go to username and password. i like on my account. At this time it only says Standard. The guest name is off. how do I become the Admin/ administer again? once i put the right username and password it shakes and cant do anything!

I tried com+s and the codes reboot my computer and everything.
