Apple Watch (gen1) screen discoloration issue

Hi, I have an issue with my gen1 watch and a blue/green-ish screen discoloration. I also see ghosting of the minute indicators which I can understand (given it's oled tech) but that doesn't really bother me. The fact that everything on the display now has a blue/green stain to it does! I went to the apple store but all they told me is I can get a repair for $250 bucks...For a watch that's barely 2 years old and cost $650 when I bought it that's really disappointing. Anybody else seen this?
