MacBook Pro 2016 = Nightmare

I've been using my MacBook Pro 2016 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 for about 9 months or so. It's been nothing but a nightmare.  First repair was about 7 months in, it had a battery issue (battery won't charge) when plugged in, battery depleted, laptop wouldn't turn on again. Second repair was right after I received it.  Of course I asked for a new Laptop at the time, but request was denied. It still had the battery issue so after waiting another 5 days or so, to my surprise it worked. But after 3 weeks it started depleting the battery again when plugged in, even though this time it didn't happen every time it was plugged in, just sometimes. I asked once again for a new machine or used or anything else but my macbook, how reliable is a 2016 machine with 3 repairs? request denied again. Booked the appointment, but  I'm not from the US and because of Hurricaine Irma at the time I couldn't get to the appointment and left the US to where I live, Colombia.

Right now I just leave my laptop plugged in. Is the only way to be sure it will get to 100%. And recently have an issue that when the computer is asleep, I open the lid and the display won't show anything for about 10 minutes. Happened in Sierra and high Sierra, just spoke to support seems to be a hardware issue.

The thing is I can't afford to ship my macbook for a repair, it takes too much time here in Colombia for that, and I work in this machine. My question is why wouldn't they change my Macbook with all these problems it's had? For me it's frustrating.

Yes I've done diagnostics, SMC reset, NVRAM reset. Reinstalling MACos. I know the drill.
