data G4 PPC

Good morning.

I have a new iMac running 10.12

I need to migrate some specific folders/files from a non-Intel G4 PPC PowerBook running OS 10.5 to the new iMac.

(Migration Assistant is NOT recommended by Apple)

How do I do these specific files?

      all emails in MAIL program

      bookmarks from Safari

You can manually move the files using an external hard drive, your local network or direct ethernet connection. There is a fourth way, but it would require a hodgepodge of adapters to get from FireWire 400 to USB-C
