after mac update (Sierra) duplex printing disabled

Hello,

I have a Canon MG3250, and after updating to the new version of Sierra (10.12.4), I cannot do duplex/two-sided printing: the two-sided option is grey and I cannot change it.

Before the update I could do it without any problem, I have downloaded and updated the driver for the printer, still same problem.

I have re-installed my printer but it doesn't change anything.

And I have the same problem with other printers that used to do duplex printing

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Found the answer, at least for my MP970. It's not obvious but this is a scrollable window. Scroll down and you will see these options:Screen Shot 2017-04-20 at 11.07.46 PM.png Change to: Screen Shot 2017-04-20 at 11.12.23 PM.png

Worked for me!

Just discovered the same problem with my old Canon MP970. I no longer see the Duplex Printing & Margin in the pull-down menu when you select Print. Works fine on my 2008 MBP that is running 10.11.6 (highest upgrade possible with that machine).

On the Canon support site for the MP970 they say "macOS Sierra v10.12 (Detected). There is no driver for the OS Version you selected. The driver may be included in your OS or you may not need a driver.".

Same question as above, any suggestion (other than get a new printer )?

Still hosed  on Epson WP-4530 Pro in Sierra  up thru current 10.12.6 update.  last July 2017's Epson dmg's 16876 and 16655 listed for 10.12

Still no back to back print option in Preview or Word

new  driver epson16876.dmg  seems to have fixed it.
