Apple Music... or not?

I have not yet connected to Apple music for several reasons, I do not stream much music today and old fashion I prefer to buy my music as mp3s or CDs. BUT i do import everything to my iTunes libery and synch playlists with my other devices (iphone, iPad and iWatch)

And the real reason for me not connect to Apple Music is that I have heard that so many users got their music libery ruined after synch via iCloud and I am also worried that there is no room (memory) for my libery in iCloud even if I have the largest choice Apple can offer today.

So my query to you out there is if I dare to connect to Apple Music and synch the music via iCloud? Will Apple keep my meta data and tags? Genre? Album names? release year? Play counts? Play lists?

Example:

If i changed the Album name from: "EP Hits" and Artist Stan & Stan, to "Single release 2016" by Stan and Stan, and this EP is available on iTunes, will it change back to the original title?

If there are a risk that Apple change album names and genre (most scared of that) I will go on and synch via cable and just hope it will be possible to do so with future products like iPhoneX.

I really want to use Apples products as they intended too but my music libery are holy and I have worked so hard to use come up with for me the perfect way of search and find so....

I have made research on the web and there is so many different views and opinions so I decided to ask for help here.

I will suggest you proceed as if this is not guaranteed and at risk. If you properly back up your music library BEFORE you start, you can always revert back to that state.

I have read of users who use 2 unique Apple IDs and keep their "holy" iTunes music library fully separate from their Apple Music Library.
