AppStore not rendering properly

I posted this originally in the MacBook Pro forums but I don't think that was the correct place.  Posting here since this seems more appropriate as its not a hardware issue.

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro 2017 during Labor Day weekend.  Everything's been great but recently, the AppStore is not rendering properly.  Functionality wise, it works.  I can install, reinstall apps, but the page rendering is completely off.  When I first received the laptop, the AppStore rendered just fine.  I didn't pay close attention but I did not make any sweeping changes to the system.  I performed what I considered standard run of the mill new laptop setup actions.  Installed Office, Skype, Chrome, Firefox, Lastpass, OneDrive, and setup social media accounts like Facebook, Gmail, etc.  I ran updates from the AppStore initially, etc.

While it appears to be cosmetic, I'd love to get the AppStore back to proper working condition here.  Has anyone encountered this and discovered a fix?  Google searches aren't revealing anything of substance.

Thus far, I've tried the following:

- Reset my default keychain (I don't want to repeat this again as reconfiguring my accounts was not fun ).

- Changed the date & time settings from Automatic to Central time.  No effect.  I'm back to using Automatic time, date, and time zone.

- Rebooted into recovery mode.  The AppStore still failed to render.

- Followed some instructions on the web to delete the AppStore caches.  I don't care to repeat this one either as reinstalling apps and extensions all over again was not fun.

I don't have screenshots uploaded but this link to another forum posts shows exactly what's happening to me: macos - AppStore formatting is broken - Ask Different.

Any help is appreciated.  This issue is really frustrating.
