NEC MultiSync PA271W and MacBook Pro 2017 (USB

Hello,

I have had NEC MultiSync PA271W monitor for some years and I am happy with it.

Until the last week I connected it daily to my MacBook Pro (2014 model). Recently I got 2017 MacBook Pro model - the one with TouchBar and only USB-C ports. I tried to use the official Thunderbolt 2 -> USB-C converter but no any signal transmitted at all - all I can see is a black screen.

What cable do I need to connect these two?

... sorry I forgot to mention that I would love to reach the resolution supported by this monitor, i.e. 2560 x 1440.
