Netflix and Youtube: Picture freezes but sound ...

I have a 2017 27" Imac with MacOS 10.12.6. I have transferred everything from my mid-2011 iMac, but on the new mac I have problems with video playback from Youtube and Netflix. The picture freezes, but the sound continues. I have rebooted etc. but no fix.

I have verified that the problem did not exist on the old iMac.

There are no differences in the configuration of the software - everything is the same on old and new mac.

Any tips on how to fix the playback issue?
