Hebrew characters not recognized in Itunes

I want to import a folder of mp3 songs i had on a former PC to my iTunes library on my macBook Pro but songs that are in in Hebrew characters become unsignificant once in iTunes... Is there a way to keep information and name with Hebrew letters?

אבי טולדנו - כשאהיה גדול אהיה קטן.mp3     ---->   ëùàäéä âãåì àäéä ÷èï

You probably need to convert the id3 tags to Unicode.  An app called id3mod may help.
