Find user library folder in clone of HD?
I had to replace the hard drive in my iMac, and had made a clone of the hd before having that done. I'm now trying to retrieve some files from a clone of my hard drive but can't find the library folder in my user folder. It doesn't appear in a finder window, same as it won't when it's the boot drive, you have to hold option and choose go from the finder menu and that allows you to see the user library folder.
Is there any way to get to it on a clone?
thanks for any help!
Open your home folder on the clone, choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, and provide exactly Library as the path.
