Icon folders greyed out

I locked myself into an app useing guided access, and blocked myself from using the middle of the screen, so I could not turn it off. (There was no time limit)

So I did a hard restart.

After I did a hard restart, all my folders were grayed out:

I am useing ipad 3rd generation, ios 9.3.5 (latest version for this iPad)

Any way to turn it back to normal?

You'd better contact Apple Support or make Genius Bar appointment to show them your iPad since it's really uncommon circumstance you face with.
