Watch music sync takes long time

Syncing a playlist to the Watch takes for. ev. er. Literally, 30 minutes for 14%, and the playlist has about 20 songs. Why?!

iPhone SE, Series 1 Watch, updated OSs.

I have an iPhone 8 Plus, and Series 3. Over 6 hours of syncing, only 136 songs are on the device. This is ridiculous. How does the apple watch sync? WIFI or bluetooth?

I completely agree! I think it is over BT when the phone is close to the watch, then switches to Wifi when the devices are separated (I just tested this hypothesis, and it's right).

Either way, it's ridiculously slow. APPLE, PLEASE FIX THIS!
