trackpad

What do i do if the trackpad on my mackbook pro does not work at all?

Have you any idea why.   Has there been a spillage of some kind?

Do you have a mouse or wireless trackpad connected? System Preferences > Accessibility > Mouse & Trackpad > uncheck box for Ignore trackpad.

 

Try resetting the SMC: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295.
