My iPad is not working help plz

Hi my old iPad 2 had my old Apple ID in it witch I forgot the password to and the email has been shut down that was used to set up the Apple ID so I have no way to rest the password so I updated the iPad thinking it be fine but it locked and the email address shown on the activation lock screen is not even my. Old iCloud which of I have forgot the password of and the email show is clearly not even a real email address what can I do 

You won't see the full email address on the activation lock screen, just its first letter, five dots (which does not necessarily mean that there are five missing letters) and the account domain. It should be the address that you were using in Settings > iCloud on the iPad.


If you don't know the id (you've tried : If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support ?), and if you were the original purchaser of the iPad (i.e. it wasn’t bought used), you could try going to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try contacting iTunes Support online (https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html) and see if they can remove the iPad from the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership before they might help e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it
