iOS App Icon Showing Incorrectly

Dear fellow iOS users,

I am wondering if anyone has a solution or also experienced a strange problem: when I installed the app Windy (a weather radar and wind information app), the icon shown during installation was the correct one with a burgundy red background, but as soon as it finished installing, the icon changed into a ‘cube robot’, as seen below.

No matter how many times I reinstall it, delete it, install via iTunes sync, or hard reset the iPad, it always shows up incorrectly. I have also tried upgrading to iOS 11, and reinstalling, which hasn’t made a difference.

I should add that all other apps that I have installed since show the correct respective icons, and Windy, when opened, is completely functional and I cannot find anything else wrong with it. Of course, it would be nice to have the proper icon!
