Is there a sharing extension for Google Plus

The share menu includes ways to share content on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, but not Google Plus. Does anyone know of a third-party extension that would include Google Plus in the share menus in Yosemite? Or if not, how about an explanation of why this is impossible.

Bump! They have all the other major networks, why not google plus? If someone could point out where to add the code and some basic coding for it, I'll do it myself.

Um... hate to break it to you, but Google+ doesn't exactly qualify as a 'major network'... It would be up to Google to code this into their app. I don't see that as likely.

Ha! ok. anyways! So which app is that? Since its' apples share menu.

That would be the Google Plus App... Apple has provided an API by with app developers can add their apps to the share menu. Google hasn't bothered. Considering how few people use it and the fact that it's considered pretty much a complete failure among social media services, that's not surprising.
