mac os parental controls do not allow roblox

I made a kids account on our macbook (mac os) with parental controls and the roblox website game will not work. How do I keep parental controls in place and enable the kid to enjoy roblox?

Did you check to see if the site works with an account without parental controls?

Yes, the site (roblox) works with no parental controls - on my administrator account. My concern is to have the kids use an account protected with controls but still be able to play on roblox.

Can you describe what happens on the account with controls when you try and use the site?

I can log in but when you click to play the game, a message asks you to download and install roblox. We've already installed it.

if you go through and re-install it, it says its configuring. When done, the selected game will not open.

I believe that roblox works off a website in conjunction with an application loaded on the machine.

The only suggestion I can offer at this point is to go through the parental controls and enable or disable what looks to make sense. I'm not going to create an account on Roblox, create a new user account, and see which parental controls may or may not work.

if you're lucky someone who uses the site may have the info you need.

If you are using Safari you could try a different browser and see if it works.

What you might want to try is first disable the parental controls from the child's account and log into it to make sure Roblox works from there. If it does, re-enable parental controls, then you to add the two roblox programs to the allowed apps…

that's the extent of what I can suggest.

Did anyone find a solution to this problem, in the end?  I am having difficulties as well. I was thrilled to find the parental controls options but then disappointed that it doesn't work with Roblox (but it does seem to work with Minecraft).
