My mini Ipad exploded!!!

I gave my daughter my mini Ipad, as we were sitting the ipad exploded from the top, right where the camera is.

Im currently out of the country and there is no Apple store here, i contacted customer support amd explained what happened and sent them photos and then i was transfered to the safety department, they did state that it looks like the ipad did explode.

My question now is ... what should i do next?

my 4 year old plays games and watches youtube on her ipad regularly it is not normal or concieveable for it to explode?

Any advice on how i should handle this.

Nevermind the frackin' iPad!

How is your daughter? Did she get injured, in any way, from the explosion?

I would contact Apple directly at 1-800-MYAPPLE, ask for customer service and explain what has happened.

Direct contact with Apple directly in Cupertino, CA.  should have provided better results and solutions than you are describing.
