iPad Calendar

Since updating my iPad Air 2 to IOS11.01.1, declined or ignored FB events are staying in my calendar; it is a mess.

i’ve checked all my settings and even restarted my device with no luck. I enjoy this syncing feature and would be disappointed having to use a different calendar app. Please help, thank you.
