Cant transfer music

I'm trying to transfer music my my newly re flashed MacBook Air to my Iphone and everytime i try ti sync it, it asks me to delete all the existing data from my Iphone to be able to sync to the iTunes library. How can I add a new playlist

Ideally you have backed up the library before the reflash, and then restored it. Then the iPhone would be syncing with the same library as before. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
