Movies prices in SD and in HD are the same now ?

Even when I choose the SD version of a movie, the rental price don’t change and stay at 5.99 $.

It seemed to have happenned since ios 11 or since they introduced 4K movies in the iTunes Store.

I called Apple : they said they don’t make the prices, the studios do. But I’m sure it’s a bug from their systems that “ forget “ to change the prices when we choose the standard definition of the movie. It cannot be that suddenly, we have to pay the same price for SD and HD, right ?
