I used this method to add a subscribed calendar...

I used the proper method via the Calendar app in MacOS to subscribe to a calendar and the event reminders are proper in my MacBook Pro. However, on my iPhone, the events show up but do not have an alert associated with them. Can you help me solve this? Why are the alerts not there?
