My iMac is constantly going into sleep mode

Hello, I'm calling up anyone in this forum to describe a problem that is really affecting my usage of my iMac. This has been happening since yesterday.

My iMac is constanly going into sleep mode every few seconds I'm using it. I don't think I did anything that caused this to happen. Does anyone else have the same issue? Does anyone know what the problem is? If so, please advise me.

BTW, my iMac is a late-2012 21" Intel i5 model (Apple Support doesn't seem to give customer support to this anymore).
