Is there a way to save PDF directly to Notes app?

Current workflow when I save or print as PDF is: save to desktop --> Open Notes app --> New note --> Drop saved PDF into Notes app. I then trash the PDF on the desktop.

Is there a way I can directly save the PDF to the Notes app and streamline the above routine?
