Just restored iphone from backup successfully, ...

Just restored iphone from backup successfully, but itunes keeps asking me to restore from backup or set up as new iphone....over and over again. I am unable to see the summary of my phone and sync my music and apps. Help please?

Thanks for trying to help. I solved the problem myself by pressing the set up as new iPhone button. Might have gone terribly wrong but thankfully it was as if I had just restored from backup. I got into my iPhone summary page almost immediately and didn't lose any data. All perfect now. Thanks.

That must be frustrating if iTunes continues to prompt you to restore or setup as new. 

I'm not sure if you have gotten any further with the restore by now or if you have been able to sync yet, but please step through this article for help.

THANK YOU SM I  was having the same problem! I just wanted to sync two songs onto my phone, but it wouldn't let me go to the sync page it keep asking me to restore my iPhone! I restored my phone at least 3 times!

I need help transferring a backup to my new 6s.  It says that I need to reset if the device is already set up???? Is this right I just got the phone today, and ATT store could not help because the old phone had water damage.

Had the same issue.

I restored my phone from my most recent previous version.

The Photos app on my MacBookPro was able to see my phone but itunes kept asking to restore.

Thanks for being the Guinea Pig and clicking on 'Set up as a new phone', worked for me immediately.
