Unable to Download Kindle App in UAE on Ipad Pro

Hi,

I am unable to download the Kindle app from the UAE Store. However this store is available in USA App Store.
I am using an Ipad and i prefer having the Kindle application downloaded on the Ipad.

I have tried changing the country. I get the message saying that my email account is linked to Emirati Store (UAE)

Can someone help please!

Whilst you are in the UAE you can only use the UAE store, being in a country is part of the store's terms (terms that you agreed to) - so you can only use the US store when in the US. You could try contacting Amazon and ask them to put the Kindle app in the UAE store - you could also try requesting it via Apple, but they won't be able to do anything without Amazon's agreement (and potentially UAE laws) : https://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

As a long time kindle user I canb confirm to you that the kindle app for iphone and ipad was available in the UAE (at least in Dubai) until about a year ago (I purchased a new iphone 6s). On the old iphone 5s my kindle was still available, but I couldn't install it on the new iPhone 6s.

I guess its something with the UAE lawm or a bug. That's strange since they sell kindle readers in Virgin store.

I moved to marvin reader (I paid for it) and it does the job. The problem is I can't synch between my real kindle and the marvin app.

I hope this will be resolved.

The only option is that you need to use your old credit card from the US then download the app and change your account back to UAE. As even if you change your store to US only will not help as your payment options is from Emirati Store. Hope that helps.
