Mail rule crashes Mail
I created a Mail rule saying: "If mail is sent to [one of my own mail addresses] then send a default reply message". Next, I sent myself a message to the mail address in the rule (to check if it worked). This crashed Mail. What's worse, it keeps crashing on startup.
I did receive the test message on other devices. I did not receive the autoreply to it, which should have been triggered by the rule. That's probably due to the crash.
I suspect I triggered an endless loop. What can I do about it? For instance, can I remove the rule?
This is an autoreply
It occurred to me I could disable the mail account that's in the rule in my system preferences. Having done that, I could normally open Mail and delete the rule. Pfff.
Thanks for reading!
