iPad problem

Last week I tried to unlock my iPad after very long not using. I saw a message that my device was lost but it isn't in real. I didnt use it so long and because of this that problem arose. I tried to charge and refresh my iPad but it didn't help. I need my device in my future education very much. So how can i fix it up??
