Entering numbers with the new IOS 11 keyboard

Hi all,

I just updated my new iPad Pro to IOS 11– It seems to be working well.

I'm having a typing problem with the new IOS 11 keyboard:

Using the NOTES APP: In order to type the numbers – I will touch a key and then pulldown then let go - and it is supposed to enter the Number rather than the text character.

The problem is this seems to only be working 75% of the time and there are many times when it does not input the number and enters the letter instead. For this initial testing I'm even going quite slowly and deliberately and it still messes up.

Question: is there some specific way you need to touch the keys to get this happening correctly?

Well 1st time I tried this - it was having problems as stated.

now - a few hours later - problem seems to have vanished

so good news!
