how do I find how iTunes stores music files on ...

To clarify my question, My laptop hard drive is partitioned into 2 parts, HD & HD2. I can see an iTunes library in both sections of the hard drive. My laptop is almost out of space, and the reason I believe is that the music library is stored on both sections of the hard drive.

How do I find out which library to keep and which to delete without losing my music files? How do I fix the settings so that the music data files are saved only to one section of the drive? the intention when splitting the drive was for the HD section to contain program files, and the HD2 the data files. Please advise me on the actions I need to resolve this issue.
