New Battery Issue in a MBP 13 inch, Late 2011.

Hi, I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011), 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3, El Capitan. I had noticed for quite a while that my battery was weakening and sure enough my MBP recommended a new battery.

I purchased a new battery from MacUpgrade OWC - NewerTech Shop namely a NuPower Battery, 65 watt-hour, which promised to be superior to the original. However, I have not noticed any significant improvement on the failing original battery. When I first purchased the MBP I was could quite happily take the MB to a meeting, with no power cable, confident it would last as long as was necessary with an almost imperceptible drop in power. Now I can almost see the percentage dropping as I work without being plugged into a power source.

Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but I have googled the issue and adjusted the laptop according to recommendations for good battery life, although I thought with my new battery this would not be needed.

I hope someone can help as I hoped this investment would pay off,

Thanks & regards,

Since the battery you purchased is manufactured by a third-party company, you should probably contact the manufacturer in order to get support.
