How to keep a low cycle count?

MacBook Pro with Touch Bar & Touch ID - my Mac is only 1 week old and I already have 5 cycle counts, how to keep it low? I usually charge my macbook from 16-20% though, is it safe to charge it on any % it's on? Like I have 61% right now and I want to fully charge it but I'm still unsure of the safety. Please help thank you

Keep it plugged in unless you need to be on battery.
